Ingredients:

  • Olive Oil
  • Porcini mushrooms
  • Pizza dough
  • Provolone
  • Salt/Pepper
  • Mascarpone
  • Fresh thyme leaves
  1. Start by firing up that oven! Whether you will be using gas or wood, you will want to get the oven up to 800 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. While the oven is getting hot, start preparing the pizza. Pour some olive oil into a hot pan and add some sliced Porcini mushrooms. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Sauté the mushrooms until they are cooked through and have a beautiful brown color.
  4. Take your dough and shape it into a nice 12-inch thin crust pizza. Be sure to keep the bottom nice and floured for easy launching into the oven.
  5. Add a layer of provolone to the pizza dough with a few dollops of Mascarpone cheese.
  6. Add a healthy amount of your sautéed porcini mushrooms and top with some fresh Thyme leaves.
  7. It’s time to launch that pizza! Bake in the oven for about a minute making sure to rotate it. When it’s nice and bubbly take it out!
